SUBJECT LINE: 7399 Unauthorised Mayflower Visitors In Last Week

Temporary Security Chief Williams here, you might remember me from the paint shop. I don’t mean to cause any alarm but I feel you all ought to know that over the course of the last week, the Mayflower Networking System was breached by 7399 unauthorised users. Most of these gained access through the account of former(?) Requisitions Chief Martinez but a clever security manoeuvre on my part locked them out of sending messages.

Where exactly these intrusions have come from is unclear, but yesterday I received a mail from the temp. Liaisons team that had a lot of exclamation marks in it, so it might be more serious than we think.

I’m fairly sure I’ve put measures in place that mean these intrusions won’t happen again, but I’d like to take this moment to remind everybody that until a week ago my password was “paintshop” so I do not consider myself an authority on this.
